For those in the Collectors' Club or interested in being in, it will kick off the fall season with a tour of Robert Strini's studio. Strini, a former recipient of the prestigious Prix de Rome Fellowship in Sculpture, has had a successful career as an artist and teacher, having taught at the Rhode Island School of Design, the University of California at Santa Cruz and the Corcoran Museum School, while exhibiting widely and placing sculpture in many museum collections. For this private studio visit, the artist will give us a special preview of work that will be a part of an upcoming exhibition in Harrisonburg at The Smith House. He will also speak about his 45-year career as an artist, along with what inspires his art and process. For more information about his art, please see his website, and also see his news blog for our event listing. Please RSVP by calling 434.973.5566 or contact us >
