LYDM is excited to announce the addition of sculptor Kurt Steger to our stable. His Burden Boat will be a focal point of the 9/11 Arts Project in Washington D.C. from 9/8 - 9/11. It will be placed in the Kogod Courtyard between the National Portrait Gallery and the Smithsonian American Art Museum, (750 9th St. NW.) and it will be used in a water cleansing ceremony at 4 p.m. on 9/11. Steger's exhibition at LYDM is scheduled for the spring of 2012, and he will bring his Burden Boat to LYDM on March 14. Read press release >
