Les Yeux du Monde is very sad to report that one of our artists, John McCarthy, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home on Friday, May 9. Before he began his career in painting, he worked as an attorney in Richmond and then as a senior assistant attorney general for Virginia. His knowledge and love of art was unquenchable.
